Eight years around the world

book introduction:

This book is my new book (Benyamin Rezaei) that I wrote in the form of a travelogue in both Persian and English languages, which I wrote about 36 adventures that happened to me in the whole world on four continents in the last eight years.

The book consists of 40 chapters and about 150 pages, each chapter is one of the audible events of my trip around the world.

From Karkheh to the Rhine!

In December 2018, in a foggy weather, I entered Cologne, Germany by train. I hadn’t even left the train station when I remembered the words of my friend Siavash, who has been living in Europe for many years, who said that Cologne is not a welcoming city, I hoped that at least this would not happen to me in Cologne. When you enter Cologne and move from the train station, which is always full of passengers, to the exit of the station, all you have to do is raise your head and look at the magnificent church that contains the monuments. The pain and suffering of World War II is still present on its brown body. Throw it unconsciously and you will be stuck in your mouth for a few minutes, even if you get into a taxi 200 meters away from Kelia and see a driver who has the same hairstyle as for the past 30 years, but his perspective He is modern and his accent smells of the homeland, no matter how little it is, it will give you a good feeling.

Although it is enough to get yourself to the side of the river Rhine and conjure up the scenes of the movie from Karkheh to the Rhine in your mind and drink a German beer and sit on the steps around the river and watch people and lovers walking for hours and that’s it. They are looking for a warm hug from the world in a cold foggy weather, there you can dream for yourself and stay until morning or if you are lucky, you might be able to meet Hoshang Ibtahaj (poet) for a few minutes…
