In June 2024, he entered the United States through the Vancouver land border with a van, embarking on one of the most unique and daring road trips ever recorded over five months. (He is the first Iranian documentary maker and adventurer to explore the U.S. in the van-life style.)

Benyamin is one of the few Iranians to have entered the U.S. as a tourist with an Iranian passport and successfully completed such a journey.
