Lalibela has 11 monolithic rock churches that are fun to explore. Most of the inhabitants of this country are Orthodox Christians and most of the churches were built in the 12th and 13th centuries. If your time is limited and you can only visit one of these churches, it is better to visit Bet Giyorgis, which is built in the shape of a cross and is completely carved out of stone.

 

Merzouga

Merzouga is a small village, but it attracts many tourists. This village is located in the African desert and is surrounded by sand dunes called Erg Chebbi.

 

Black River George National Park

Another splendid island in the Indian Ocean, which is a short distance from the east coast of Africa, is the island of Mauritius. Mauritius is known for its beaches, tropical climate and the magnificent Black River Gorges National Park. This park is relatively new and was established in 1994 to protect the natural beauty of the island.
