Travelogue to Dubai

Hello, my name is Toomaj! I wanted to share my wonderful travel experiences in Dubai, a beautiful city located on the edge of the Persian Gulf in Asia. I hope you’ll enjoy reading about my adventures!

Dubai is truly a jewel of the United Arab Emirates, with its splendid, elegant and luxurious vibe. When I visited in 2017, I had an unforgettable experience, full of amazing sights, sounds, and flavors.

Let me walk you through my trip day by day:

Day 1:

As soon as I arrived at Dubai International Airport, I was immediately struck by the modernity and grandeur of the city. After taking a short break, I headed over to Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping mall! With over 1200 stores, aquariums, and an ice-skating rink, I happily spent hours wandering around and trying some delicious local dishes – including shawarma!

Day 2:

On the second day of my stay in Dubai, I woke up early and headed out to the desert for an exhilarating experience of sand dunes. I rode in an off-road car and we drove up and down the dunes – it was a real adrenaline rush! After the sand dune adventure, I had breakfast at a traditional nomad camp and learned more about the culture and history of the region. I even got to go camel riding and watched a falcon-hunting show!

Day 3:

My third day in Dubai started with a visit to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building! I took the elevator up to the observation deck on the 124th floor, where I had a marvelous view of the city from above. Afterwards, I went to Dubai Miracle Garden, a lovely flower garden with over 45 million flowers in vivid colors and shapes. In the evening, I visited the Dubai Fountain, which is the world’s largest designed fountain system. The fountain works with music and creates a mesmeric landscape!

Day 4:

On the last day of my stay in Dubai, I visited Palm Jumeirah, an artificial palm tree-shaped island. I went to Dubai Marina, a beautiful waterside area with luxury leisure boats and high-end restaurants. I had an enjoyable seafood lunch in one of the restaurants and strolled along the marina, taking in the sights of the city.

And that concludes my Dubai travelogue! It was truly an unforgettable experience and I hope to go back someday. Thank you for reading!
